The California Honeydrops got their start playing for travelers exiting and entering BART commuter train stations in Oakland, California.  Their second album is out, with a crowd-pleasing mix of styles that embraces everything from blues, gospel, country, and New Orleans Jazz, to soul music.   

The California Honeydrops recorded the new one live in the studio, for a sound that is both raw, and sweet.  The CD is Spreadin' Honey.
