St. Louis National Blues Museum plans to open in 2014

January 30, 2013

The National Blues Museum has recently received a generous $6 million dollar grant from Pinnacle Entertainment, a necessary push for the museum to open its doors to St. Louis citizens in 2014.

The Museum plans to exhibit the history of blues and its influence on other American music forms such as jazz, R&B, and Rock ‘N’ Roll. The 23,000 square-foot museum will also house a small theater and classroom for museum-goers to enjoy.
