Bobby Jones "I Don't Know" (March 30-April 3)
Bobby Jones Bobby Jones worked the Chicago blues trenches in the 1950’s and 60’s, finding steady work as a singer, but he never quite caught the breaks. He hung in there though, and when he got invited to a Mannish Boys' recording session, Bobby agreed. During a lull in the recording, he was asked to do a song. He did. The producer was so impressed, he asked Bobby Jones to join the band on the spot. On Mannish Boys albums, Jones shares vocal honors with two other singers, Finis Tasby and Johnny Dyer, but with his new album COMIN’ BACK HARD, he has the spotlight all to himself. |
