Delta Wires "Lonesome Blues" (May 4-8, 2009)

Delta Wires
"Lonesome Blues"
Live @ 105 Degrees
Mud Slide Records

The Delta Wires, out of Oakland, California, were formed as a college project by lead singer and harmonica player Ernie Pinata.  He wanted a band that could pay tribute to every style of blues music, from Mississippi to Chicago.  Thirty years later, the band has evolved into a tight, smoking unit – horns, harmonica, slide guitar.

Their fifth CD was recorded at the Northern California Blues Festival.  The record is called

LIVE AT 105 DEGREES

, which was the temperature when they hit the stage.
