Joe Louis Walker Joe Louis Walker was friend and roommate with guitar virtuoso, Mike Bloomfield, in the San Francisco sixties. Bloomfield’s death in 1968 caused young Walker to embark on an immediate lifestyle change, which included earning degrees in music and English, and performing gospel music. Then in 1985, the muse beckoned once again, and Joe Louis Walker has been bringing us the blues ever since, earning several Grammys and Blues Music Awards along the way. His latest CD is Between A Rock And The Blues. |
