Maria Muldaur has moved a long way away from the oasis in her career as a singer.  Her recent records have mined the gold from the early years of jazz, blues, country, and gospel music. 

Her latest CD continues that tradition, with a twist. She got her start as a jug band singer, and the new release, Garden of Joy, is a 21st Century jug band record.  Traditional tunes are mixed with great new songs, and she is joined by John Sebastian, Taj Mahal, David Grisman, and more.
