Davis Coen
Davis Coen is a hardworking, popular, and busy young blues man from South Carolina, where he has been playing and recording music since he was a teen. For his latest CD, he traveled over to Mississippi Hill Country to record at Jimbo Mathus' studio. Mississippi blues saturates the album, along with hints of jug band music, juke joint jams, fingerpicking, and good ol' Delta slide. The album is Magnolia Land. |
