Taj Mahal

At the forefront of American roots music for over forty years, Taj Mahal has one foot in the Blues and the other in experimentation.  Whether it's Reggae, African music, Ragtime, Jazz or Hawaiian music, Taj has been sharing his eclectic tastes with the record-buying public since 1967.  There is no one who represents Roots and Blues better than Taj Mahal and we are proud to be featuring this great artist as headliner at The Boulder Theatre on our first night.  We hope there's a big turn-out to help celebrate his 70^th birthday!

Keb' Mo'

Headlining the Boulder Theatre on Saturday night is the one and only Keb' Mo'.  A protégé of Taj Mahal, Keb' uses The Blues as a jumping off point for his soulful and rhythmic sound. Keb' is one of our greatest songwriters.  His masterful turn of the phrase matched with his rich, warm voice and commanding stage presence, makes Keb' Mo' a must-see artist. His music walks a balance between Country Blues and R&B. Take a look into the future of Roots and Blues music as this Grammy-award winning artist shares his vast repertoire of songs.

Bob Margolin

“Steady Rollin’ ” Bob Margolin started playing guitar in 1964 and began playing in Rock bands right away. Inspired by Chuck Berry, he followed his path back to the Blues.
