About Us...
In 1992, my partner Isaac Tigrett and I opened a club in Cambridge, Massachusetts called The House of Blues. We wanted to honor the great working musicians with a venue worthy of their efforts. Plus, we needed a cool place to hang out.

Harmonica master Charlie Musselwhite helped open the joint. Later, Charlie ran into his buddy, a radio producer Ben Manilla, who said he was thinking of starting a syndicated Blues radio show.
Manilla passed the secret initiation ritual, and together we conned CBS Radio into letting us have air time. Hey, we even wrote a book!
So many great years have gone by, and now we're with Dial-Global Networks. There are House of Blues clubs across North America, and we continue to bring quality American-style music to the airwaves.

TheBluesmobile.com is our first website set up exclusively for the Radio Hour. We're proud of what we have done so far, but there's always room for improvement. Tell me what you think, and what we can do to make it better!

The BluesMobile Radio Hour has won the Silver Medal award for Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program from the 2007 New York Festivals International Radio Broadcasting Awards! The New York Festivals Radio Programming and Promotion Awards recognizes "The World's Best Work" in radio programming and promotion.
