Elwood’s Blues Breaker: Fantastic Negrito “Night Has Turned To Day”

The man known as Fantastic Negrito is a musician from Oakland California. He survived a million dollar record deal that went south, followed by a near fatal car accident that he is still recovering from years later. Despite all this, or maybe because of it, he has reinvented himself, and his music, building on Delta blues and old school roots with his own beats, his own instruments, and his own vision. Fantastic Negrito has unleashed an EP upon the world, with a string of fantastic songs, including this gospel-tinged beauty, which is booty-shaking, sunny and deep. “Night Has Turned to Day.”
