Elwood’s Blues Breaker: The Lucky Losers “Change in the Weather”

Singer Cathy Lemons hails from Houston originally, but she and harmonica man Phil Berkowitz have been making music in the San Francisco Bay Area for years now. They have each played solo, but they also backed up pretty much everybody in town. Now Lemons and Berkowitz have teamed up to make an old school soul explosion. They call themselves the Lucky Losers, and their first release consists half of songs they wrote themselves, and half distinctive covers covering everything from Chicago and Texas style blues to New Orleans funk.
