The Doors had a short and fevered run of less than eight years together as a band, but their fans have lifted them to a cult status. Their songs have become milestones for many, and part of the popular culture of today.
Of course most people remember the moody stage antics of Jim Morrison that were the loud public face of the band. But drummer, John Densmore, remembers a quieter, more harmonious time for the group.
